Back in September, we learned the cult-hit game PowerWash Simulator will indeed be coming to PS5 and PS4. However, the announcement stopped short of telling us exactly when we could join the fun. While we're still none the wiser, it looks like developer FuturLab is planning for a big update soon.

In a statement on social media, the studio states more information is coming in 2023:

So, "early next year", we will learn a bit more about when to expect the game on Sony's consoles.

In case you don't know, PowerWash Simulator is exactly what it sounds like — a simulation game in which you take on cleaning contracts with your trusty power washer. Controlled like a first-person shooter but with highly pressurised water instead of bullets, you blast the dirt and grime away in a series of increasingly complex levels. While it doesn't sound like much fun, it's apparently very relaxing and surprisingly addictive.
